KELZAN

KELZAN xanthan gum is an industrial grade thickening agent that provides excellent suspension and stabilization benefits. It controls the flow of liquids on vertical and inclined surfaces, preventing phase separation in suspensions and emulsions. KELZAN ensures products remain free-flowing throughout their shelf-life. It enhances the stability of foams and is compatible with high concentrations of electrolytes like salts. KELZAN is stable over a wide pH range and to high-shear processes. Typical use levels of KELZAN range from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight of water. KELZAN should be dispersed in water before adding other ingredients and provides benefits in applications such as cleaners, pesticides and more by controlling viscosity under various conditions.
