DESMOPHEN 1700

DESMOPHEN 1700 is a linear, hydroxyl-bearing polyester resin used for flexibilization. It provides flexibility when combined with other resins like DESMODUR. As a medium viscosity liquid without solvents, DESMOPHEN 1700 mixes well into formulations. It improves toughness, wear and abrasion resistance of coatings when combined with other polyesters. These properties make coatings applied to furniture, floors and other building surfaces last longer. DESMOPHEN 1700 also increases flexibility of coatings applied to surfaces exposed to mechanical stresses. It is compatible with many polyester and polyisocyanate materials used in coating systems.
