Sustainable Solutions: People, health & safety

TrendsIndustrial Solutions

When we use no-hazard label materials, we ensure the health and safety of all a products users.

Based on our recent 'State of Sustainability' report, nearly 80% are using materials for people, health and safety today. As can be expected, the biggest driver of this sustainability factor is regulatory compliance.

The chemical industry is using chemicals without hazardous labels, which has a sustainable value for both people and the planet. That's why we offer a range of chemical intermediates that meet health and safety standards.

Identifying chemicals that prioritise health & safety

No greenwashing

Eighty percent of the industry has concerns about greenwashing. To avoid any grey area in our sustainable solution product recommendations, we do not classify any material as sustainable if it does not first pass our criteria of people, health and safety. This avoids any product being labelled sustainable despite having adverse effects on people and the planet.

Product assessment

Working in the chemical industry, we deal with dangerous materials every day. Our role is to understand how these chemicals impact our people and planet and help our customers select the right chemicals for their needs. We assess every product in our portfolio based on a specific list of criteria to ensure we recommend better alternatives when possible to our customers.
